Barnet Information
Barnet, High Barnet or Chipping Barnet as it is also known is one of the boroughs of London. Barnet dates back to the 12th century when it was a settlement. Today it is a thriving suburban development that is 10 miles from Charing Cross.
There are no railway stations in Barnet that are overground, however there are 3 stations – New Barnet, Hadley Wood and Oakleigh Park which are close by. High Barnet Tube Station is the most northerly stop on the Nothern Line and trains run from there frequently.
