Bath Information
The city of Bath is located in Somerset, just 13 miles east of Bristol.
Bath has been a World Heritage Site since 1987 and today has a population of over 83,000. It's become a major UK tourist attraction, with the city renowned for its theatres, culture and heritage.
Park and ride schemes are extremely prevalent in Bath, with locations at Odd Down, Lansdown and Newbridge. The University of Bath also operates a park and ride scheme on Saturdays.
Bath Spa railway station has regular trains to London, Bristol, Cardiff and Plymouth. The A4 road also links Bath with Bristol.
With the strong anti-car policies parking can be very scarce in Bath, meaning that private parking spaces in certain parts of the city can be rented out for over £100 per month.
