Bramall Lane Stadium is in Sheffield and it is the home to Sheffield United Football Club. It is also the home of the Sheffield Eagles rugby league team. It is known for being the oldest football stadium on the planet that hosts football matches that are professional.
The stadium first opened in the 1880s as a cricket ground, but it began hosting football matches in 1889. Since the findings of the Taylor Report the ground has been extensively redeveloped and it is now a fully seated venue with a capacity of 32,702.
As well as being used for sporting events the stadium has also been used as the venue for a rock concert.
Very pleased to have been able to park so close to the stadium last thursday. Owner was very polite and accommodating, and we enjoyed the match safe in the knowledge that the car was secure. Alternative methods of transport for us into London would have been very expensive and much more time wasted.
