Although there are around 5 miles to the airport from the actual space, you have two excellent options to make your transfer to the airport:
1 - a short taxi ride
2 - a 20min local No. 20 bus that costs less than £2 with a stop yards from my front door! (See Crawley Metro for times)
You also have the peace of mind that 99% of the time, I am home at some point each day and therefore can monitor your cars safety regularly. (However, I have lived here for 6 years and never had any issues so I'm sure my observations wont be needed anyway!!)
