Broadmead is a large street that runs through the centre of Bristol city centre. It is seen as one of the main shopping centres in the area and the street itself dates back to 1383 where it was recorded as being called Brodemede. At the moment Broadmead is going through redevelopment which will see their shopping area become much larger as it is extended towards Cabot Circus which is a shopping complex that was completed in 2008.
Broadmead has a large variety of different shops and there is something for everyone along this busy and bustling street in Bristol.
Towards the north of the street lays St James’ Park which is a large park area which draws many visitors each year. Broadmead also has plenty of bars and restaurants running along its length and anyone who is in the area shopping can easily find somewhere to rest and recharge their batteries.
