Brockley is one of the districts that is in the London where of Lewisham and it is around 5 miles away from charring Cross. The oldest house in Brockley is Stone House which is located on Lewisham Way and it was built back in 1773 by George Gibson the younger.
Up until the mid-19th century most of this area was used for agriculture until the Tyrwhitt-Drake family decided to start building villas, semi-detached houses and terraces in the north area.
