Chingford is located in the north east of London and it has borders with Woodford, Walthamstow, Enfield, Essex, Stratford and Edmonton. It is around 10 miles away from Charing Cross which makes it close to the centre of London.
Queen Elizabeth's hunting lodge is one of the main landmarks of the area and the structure was originally built in 1543 for King Henry VIII. Its main use was to watch people who were hunting deer. Today the structure that stands there has been drastically altered since it was first constructed.
There are many other landmarks in the area such as Chingford old town hall which was built in 1929 and Friday Hill House which was built in 1839. These are just a few of the different buildings and landmarks that Chingford is known for and these are some of the things that are of interest to anyone who visits the area.
Wow. Space offered 9 march, filled 16 March. Thanks if only everything was so simple.
