Covent Garden is one of London's districts that is located on the eastern side of the West End. Convent Garden lies between Drury Lane and St Martin's Lane and it is commonly known for its former vegetable and fruit market that was once held in the centre square.
Today Covent Garden is known for being a major tourist attraction and having many shops, restaurants and bars. The open air market that was once held here dates back to 1654 and at the time the area was populated by many well-to-do people.
However it soon fell into disrepute as the gentry moved away and more bohemian individuals started to move in.
Rented out quickly thankyou.
