Haymarket Station is the second-largest train station in Edinburgh and it is a part of many commuter routes that run from Scotland into the south of England. The station first opened back in 1842 and by 1946 it had already been extended.
The station has four different platforms and one bay platform that is at the side of the station. The station is managed by First ScotRail and has trains from various networks passing through it on a daily basis
Each year there are more than 1.5 million people that passed through the station making it incredibly busy at peak times of the day and night.
In fact there have been problems with congestion at the station and these are now being looked into in order to ease this problem. Including passenger lifts in the station did help the matter although there is still the need for further development inside the station.
Not exactly sure how long it took to find someone to rent my space but it can't have been more than 10 days. Great!
