Molesey is located in Elmbrdge which makes up part of Greater London and is on the outskirts. It has a population of around 19,000 and dates back to the seventh century. Molesey was written about in 1086 Domesday book and in those times it was known as Molesham.
In 1968 Molesey was one of the areas that was affected when the River Mole flooded as were many other towns and villages located along the Thames.
Today there are several places of interest in Molesey including the Crocked Bell which is a pub that dates back to the mid-15th century.
