Portman Road Information:

Portman Road Stadium is the home ground of Ipswich Town FC and has been since 1884. As well as being a venue for football matches it has also been used for hockey matches and athletics meetings as well as other events.

Early in the 2000s the ground underwent significant redevelopment and it had its capacity increased from 22,600 to 30,311. The stadium is an all seater with no room for standing, this decision was made by the Taylor Report.

In addition to sporting facilities there is also room for banqueting and conferences inside the stadium with the Sir Bobby Robson Suite and Legends Bar.
