Robin Hood Doncaster & Sheffield Airport:
The Robin Hood Airport is an international airport based at the former RAF Finningley airbase. The nearest cities are Doncaster and Sheffield.
The airport was only reopened to passengers in April 2005. However, since then it has gone from strength to strength. Easyjet now fly to many destinations from the airport and around a million passengers pass through it each year.
If you're travelling by road then the M18, M62 and M1 motorways are nearby. Doncaster station is approximately 7 miles from the airport and a new station is planned at Finningley. There are also regular bus services between the airport and the surrounding towns.
