Just under 10 minutes walk from Whittlesford Parkway railway station, South Cambs. A private driveway set well back and obscured from view, on Royston Road. The house owner is in many days a week, so safety and security are good.
Comments:
Whittlesford Parkway is a busy station on the Cambridge to London Liverpool Street line. The large NCP car park is very busy (but expensive at 21.50 per week) and many commuters park all the way down the far end of Royston Road. The price is negotiable, especially for long-term.
High Street, Penge, London.
Secure Parking bay located at the back of my house.
Opposite Royston School and Adult Education Centre. On the borders with Beckenham Road. 4 minutes walk to Kent House Station with trains direct to Victoria and 8 minutes walk to Clock House Station with trains direct to London Bridge. 5 Minutes walk to Beckenham Road Tram Stop. Also near bus stops for Crystal Palace about a 5 minute bus ride and Penge Stations also.
Royston is a civil parish and town that is located in Hertfordshire and it is on the Greenwich Meridian. The town is approximately 43 miles away from the centre of London and it is a tranquil, rural area. The population of Royston is around 14,500 people and evidence showed that it was first established between two thoroughfares – Icknield Way and Ermine Street. Royston is close to the A505 and the A10 which provide great transport links for the area.
There is one railway station in the area, Royston railway station and it is on the Hitchin-Cambridge line. Royston Cave which is in the middle of the town was found in 1742 and inside there were many strange carvings which have led people at the edges to wonder about what the cave's original function once was.
Today Royston has a slowly growing population and it is a place that is favoured by people looking for somewhere to commute to London from.
