About SE10:

SE10 is in the Greenwich district of London and is probably most well known for its links to maritime history and its links to Greenwich Mean Time. From the 15th century there was a royal palace in the area which was called the Palace of Placentia and this is where both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I were born. Today Greenwich is known for being a centre for tourists with many places of interest in the area. These include the Cutty Sark, the Island Gardens, the Old Royal Naval College and the O2 Arena.

The National Maritime Museum in the SE10 area also draws many people from around the world and on a warm day it is good to spend time in Greenwich Park, which is one of the royal parks and covered a total of 183 acres.

Since 1997 Maritime Greenwich have been on the World Heritage Sites list thanks to the number of historical and architecturally interesting buildings in the area.
