Stamford Brook Station is a London Underground Tube station which is located in Chiswick in the West of London.
The station is on the District Line and it is between Turnham Green Tube Staiont and Ravenscourt Park Tube Station and it is in Travelcard Zone 2. There are two entrances to the station, the main one is on Goldhawk Road and the second smaller entrance is on Prebend Gardens. The station was opened in 1869 and from then on the station saw considerable numbers of services running through it.
There are 2 platforms in the station and on average there are 2.4 million passengers that will go through its doors each year. Stamford Brook station is also known for being the first Tube station on the underground that had an automatic ticket barrier put in place in 1964 and this helped to control the flow of passengers who were buying tickets.
I have had two delightful residents parking at the property as a result of this advert.
