About Sunbury:

Sunbury on Sunbury on Thames and it is also known in a town that is located in Spelthorne in Surrey.

It forms part of the London commuter belt and it is approximately 15 miles away from the centre of London. On its boarders are Hampton and Feltham and to the south there is the River Thames. Archaeological evidence has shown that the area was once a Bronze Age settlement and the area was also mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086.

The area is mainly suburban and has many leafy streets in which the local community live. There are also several industrial estates and high rise office buildings which are situated close to the M3, A308 and A316. The close links to the main road also make it an ideal place for people who are commuting to London. The town is also know for the millennium embroidery which is a large art work which was commissioned to commemorate the millennium.
