Tulse Hill Station is a railway station that is located in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is a station that is served by First Capital Connect Trains and Southern trains. The station is located in Travelcard Zone 3 and it was first opened in 1868 and at this time it was owned by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. The original roof which was made from iron and glass and within a bowstring arch design was destroyed in around 1906 as a similar roof at Charing Cross had fallen down in 1905. As a result officials made the decision to destroy the roof at Tulse Hill Station as a precautionary measure.
The station has a total of four platforms and each year around 1.6 million passengers go through its doors.
During off peak hours 16 trains go through the station and this increases during peak hours when more than 24 trains will pass through.
It worked space rented! The free contracts are very useful.
