Twickenham Information
Twickenham has been part of Greater London since 1965 and is best known as being the home of Twickenham Rugby Stadium, Europe’s 5th largest stadium with a capacity of 82,000. Although predominantly a rugby stadium, the ground also frequently hosts concerts.
Twickenham Stadium is only a short walk from the stadium, with mainline trains coming in from Waterloo and Reading. There is also a regular shuttle service between Richmond Station and the stadium on match days, and buses 281, 267 and H22 all pass close to the stadium.
All parking on the roads around the stadium is restricted for resident permit holders but many homeowners rent out their driveways for £10-£20 when events are held at the stadium.
