Virginia Water is a railway station in the UK that is based in Virginia Water, a village in Surrey. Every train that goes through the station is operated by South West Trains. The station was first opened on 4 June 1856 and made up part of the line running from Staines to Ascot.
In 1866 a section which ran to Weybridge was added. In 1973 a new building was built for the station and this was made from prefabricated concrete and is still in existence.
Today the train station has four different platforms which see an average of 12 trains per hour during weekdays and on Saturdays.
