Wood Green is an area in the London Borough of Haringey which is almost 7 mile from the centre of London. Wood Green has been identified in the London Plan as being one of the 35 centres in Greater London.
The area was developed as an urban district in 1894 and in 1918 and Wood Green constituency was created and this lasted until 1983. Within Wood Green there is a large shopping centre that includes several restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, bars and two cinemas. There are also two buildings which are known as the Chocolate Factory and these are artists’ studios which were set up by Haringey Arts Council back in 1996 and these house a total of 200 local artists.
The area has Wood Green tube station and Alexandra Palace railway station as well as several bus routes which serve the local area. These create excellent links to the centre of London which are useful for the local community.
Brilliant thanks. Have parking bay let.
