The local council runs short stay and long stay pay and display car parks in the following locations:

Parking Costs:
- It costs £1 an hour to park up to a maximum of £4 for four to nine hours.
Charges apply Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 5.30pm, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. - Parking is free of charge between 5.30pm and 8.30am and Sundays.
- Blue Badge holders and motorcycles are free to park.
- Electric vehicles are free to park only while charging. If not charging, or when charging is complete, EV vehicles must be parked in a pay and display parking bay and the appropriate fee paid.
- Short stay car parks remain limited to two hours with a maximum of £2.
Parking Permits
A parking permit can be purchased for £260 for 12 months, £130 for 6 months, £65 for 3 months, or £21.67 for one month. This works out to about 85p per day, based on parking 6 days a week. A parking permit entitles holders to park in any of the town’s off-street car parks.
Arbroath Cliffs Parking
If you intend to walk the Arbroath Cliffs trail north of Arbroath, it is recommended that you park at the north end of the road along the front at the north end of Arbroath. There is a car park at the far end of Victoria Park as well.
