Manchester Central Convention Complex, formerly known as Manchester Central and previously and the G-MEX Centre, is a conference and exhibition centre converted from the former Manchester Central Station. It was Manchester’s main music venue between 1982 and 1985. It has since then become the home of the Labour Party Conference and has hosted the Conservative Party Conference and the Liberal Democrats Party conference.
There is a wide variety of parking close to the centre that can be pre-booked making it cheaper and guaranteeing a space, while minimising the time spent looking for on-road parking. The venue is served by its own metrolink station called Manchester Central and is a short walk from St Peter’s Square metrolink. Deansgate railway station is also very close and provides services to Preston, Liverpool and connects to Manchester Piccadilly.
In the local vicinity, one can find a variety of activities, food, drink and hotels. Beetham Tower, housing a Hilton, is next to the venue and features a bar and restaurant called Cloud 23 on the 23rd floor of the tower. Deansgate locks is another polar destination for food and drinks, while the Bridgewater Hall host concerts and events regularly. Manchester Science and Industry Museum, located near Castlefield, is also a popular family attraction.

Good centrally located parking space. Easy to use, although some people may find it a bit difficult to manoeuvre. Would definitely use again.Andrew
I had a monthly contract for parking. A downside to the buidling is that the spaces are quite tight. Everyone has to park properly otherwise it can be difficult for access to your car. Another downside was the removal of door fobs which meant that access to the building was only by the keypad at the carpark entrance/exit if there was no reception on. Not ideal. That said, this is a great spot for the centre of Manchester and Bridgewater Hall. I only ended my contract as I found a space in the building where I am employed. It is very competitively priced for a monthly contract and is easy to enter and exit providing your kepad entry code works. If I didn't have the sapce I currently occupy, this would be high on my list of possible parking spaces.Aidan
The location itself is great. Very close to central library and the price is very reasonable (I paid £2.25 for 3 hrs). Its an underground car park with quite narrow parking bays as they are designed between between huge pillars. Large SUVs/sedans will certainly struggle especially if there other spaces are occupied. You will do a lot of n-point turns. I was lucky to park on an off-day with very few cars - found space at the back end of car park with decent bay space (they are limited though). I parked on a Sunday where the reception was closed, so had to walk out/enter via the roller doors using the same access code. Access to and out is via a very steep ramp, so anyone who is not confident on hill start might want to think twice before booking this space.Arun Prakash
I like this parking a lot, well light and secure, also I believe this is nearest parking to Manchester Central library, highly recommended.Rakshpal
Easy to book and to find. Secure parking in the city centre. Definitely would use againJamie
good spot for me to park here as I'm working just around the corner. always space available to, down side barriers don't always work because number plate recognition is dodgy ,but that's only when you pre book your parking.David
