From London and the North the M25 onto the A21 will directly lead to the town. Or the M20 and A2070 via the A259.
From the South and West, the A27 onto the A259 directly into Hastings.

Hastings seafront is a seven minute walk from Hastings train station.
By Ferry:
The nearest ferry port is Newhaven, this has departures and arrivals to the French port of Dieppe. The crossing time is around four hours. It takes an hour and five minutes by car or one hour 45 minutes by train with one change to get to Hastings seafront.

Gatwick is the biggest international airport to Hastings. It provided flight across most parts of the globe, as well as domestic in country flights throughout England.
It takes around an hour and 15 minutes to drive to Hastings seafront from Gatwick or a direct one hour and 40 minute train journey.
