  • Parking on Gypsy Castle Lane, HR3

Exactly as detailed on the driving instructions, owner there on arrival and easy to park. Excellent confirmation service aswell. Excellent service and most definitely use again. I have to be honest I hadn't heard of your parking space before and was a little dubious about it but would now highly recommend to anyone! Great site, keep up the good work.

Very good service on telephone but website useless. Parking space okay when we found it. Poor signage but very good service at the site.

Booking through YourParkingSpace was quick and efficient. On entering Hay by car there is a mass of signs advertising parking places. But this particular parking spot is really badly signed and difficult to find if you don't know the area. For instance : the name of the road does not appear to have a sign, the name of the farm does not appear to have a sign, etc, etc. The actual parking space, once discovered is absolutely fine, but then there are no signs directing you to the shortest pedestrian route to the Festival. There was absolutely no-one about, you just leave your car at a deserted farm. I got the impression that I could have parked almost anywhere in Hay, either for free or at cheaper cost, and at a manned carpark with someone to tell me the way to go!

This parking area is double the price of some other pay-on-the-day car parking areas that are more conveniently located for the Hay Festival site. Though the ability to prebook is worth some premium I don't think £6 per day is justified. I would not recommend it, even though the family who own the farm are charming and helpful.

Very friendly owner, good location and an easy 7 minute walk to the festival site. More expensive than other carparks but would use again.
