  • Parking on Lovers Lane, NG24

The price we paid was very good for a period of 9 hours parking. We found the car park's street location quite easily but were really unsure as to whether the car park we came across was the right one as nowhere in our emails was the specific name given. This did cause a minor panic as we didn't want to incur penalty charges for parking in the wrong place. Fortunately, a passerby was able to reassure us that there weren't any other car parks in that street. A minor downside was that the car park lacked lighting which could lead to some individuals feeling vulnerable late at night. We would use this car park again.

Excellent ...Ideal for Newark Northgate station (5 minute walk max) Great value. Whole package was easy. Will definetly use again. No hestiation to recommend.

I used this space for Newark Northgate rail station which is 10 minutes walk away. The space was easy to find and clearly signposted locally. Essentially it's an area of open ground in a residential area. On the plus side it was only £9 for 2 days parking which was a lot cheaper than the station car park. I only gave 3 stars because the car park has no marked bays and is a bit of a 'free for all'. Having said that, when I arrived the other drivers had all parked in a sensible manner. The day I parked was a bit rainy and the space isn't tarmac, just a kind of gravel. Consequently there were many large puddles which were hard to avoid when on foot. Another negative is that, when I returned at night, I realised that there is no lighting at all (or CCTV). Coupled with the puddles this made me a little uncomfortable. Ladies travelling alone might like to take note!

All great. Safe area. The best option for short 1-3 days parking in Robin Hood airport, just 10-15 minutes walk.
