Parking on Jury St, NR30, Great Yarmouth

Space Description

Parking is available close to the seafront and close to a lot of guest houses, many of which have no parking. Great Yarmouth has very limited parking as we have a rule about being a resident to park outside your house. This spot is ideal if you're staying in the area, or at one of the many luxurious guest houses in the area. There are several bus stops and eateries in the area within walking distance. Access is available 24/7. There are also public toilets across the road open 9 till 4.30 during the summer season.

The space can be accessed 24/7. Suitable for vehicles up to the size of a Large - (4x4).

Important notice: The full address of the parking space/garage/car park will be provided following a successful booking

I have used this app for years and prior to each parking space I have always contacted the owner before we have arrived to be on the safe side and out of politeness. However, with this space i texted the owner 3 times and heard nothing , knocked heard nothing and called twice and still nothing. We still parked here for 24 hours and was ok but I felt uncomfortable in case the owner had moved and forgot to close the account. Also whatever you do, do not park here with anything bigger than a Vauxhall meriva or large vehicle as it's so tight its unbelievable. I just , by the skin of my teeth , managed to reverse and parked the car here and got access to my boot and didnt block the pavement with about 1mm left. It's cheap to park here compared to others but communication is very poor and unfortunately as a result we wouldn't use this space again. If we visited yarmouth we would have to park else where.

Excellent location. As mentioned in other reviews, its small lane to manoeuvre car. But with parking sensors its not difficult to park. My car is BMW X1 and I could park easily and there is still enough room for kids to get out of car along with large size pram. May not fit X5 or Voyager kind vehicles. Good for small to medium size SUVs. Directions are easy to find the location. Walkable distance to Britannia pier and Joyland.

Parking space was really easy to find. It's a great location less than 5 min walk from the sea front. The road is narrow and a large car might find it difficult to park in the space but it was no problem for my Mazda 2. I would park here again and recommend to others.

Street is relatively narrow, but space is accessible enough so parked with no problem. Sea front and pier and town centre short walk away so perfectly placed

Easy to find - straight in and out with no issues. However, as other reviews have said, this is a VERY narrow street and parking space, so larger vehicles may have some trouble manoeuvring! I'd happily park here again as it was just a quick walk to my B&B. Thank you!.

Perfect proximity to the town centre/where I was staying. Street appeared safe with lots of other vehicles parked on their drives. The street is small and tight as previously mentioned, but I had no issue parking at all and my vehicle is larger than some - if you have no issues in multi-storey car parks then you'll have no issue here. Would park here again for sure.

Very easy to book and cheaper than normal parking. I have a Ford Focus and I just got in the road and parking space any larger car would not have got in. Hence the 3*.

Yes, the street is narrow but, with the type of simple maneuvering that anyone parking in a supermarket car park is used to, getting my medium sized 4x4 in and out of this parking space was no problem. The space is well kept, and that, as well as the closeness to the house, inspired confidence in the well-being of my vehicle. Given the horrendous situation re parking in Great Yarmouth the price was excellent, and I would not hesitate to use this facility again (although I do think that the owner is undervaluing it!)

I booked this space to attend the air show display June 18. When I arrived I was disappointed to see such a narrow road. I needed to reverse out of Jury st, back into the main road to let another driver out. I drive a very small vehicle but still needed to shunt my car back n forth to reverse it into the driveway, I wasn't happy to drive on then reverse off later after the show as I fear I would have hit another vehicle or a brick wall. To make the parking more tricky the house owner left 2 wheelie bins on the driveway. Two pluses though 1, it's close to the sea front and 2, I felt safe leaving it there for the day once I'd parked up. I wouldn't recommend booking this space if you have a 4x4 or a large vehicle.
