Parking spaces located on Kent Street in York. The spaces are suitable for vehicles up to the size of a Large - (4x4). On-site there is Covered Parking, CCTV and Security Lighting. Please note there is a height restriction of 2.00m on this location.

The spaces are available 24 hours on all days.

This is the Q-Park Barbican car park, located right behind The Barbican and a short walk from York city centre.

Please note that with this car park it’s one entry and exit per booking.

    Easy pre-payment, very close to the Barbican centre and city centre. Felt secure and was well lit. Will be using again very soon and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others.

    Parked on top floor. Near ped exit. The gate was locked. Then had to walk back thru car park and down car ramp. On exit neither pay machine would accept prepaid bar code. Had to wait additional 20 mins and had to rely on very helpful attendant.

    Arrived at car park and parked , took ticket from machine and went to concert,, returned after concert to find long que at ticket machine to verify ticket,, next to me was another lady with same printed ticket, neither ticket could be scanned as per instructions given ,,, on speaking to someone via the machine we were both told to not bother with the ticket and when we got to the barrier to speak to someone and give the ref number,,, obviously there must have been lots of problems as it took 1hr to get to the barrier,,at the barrier the lady who answered was unable to verify my ticket , or my name, or my email , or my registration and would not lift the barrier, at this time there would be maybe up to 100 cars behind me not able to get out, she flatly refused to open the barrier and forced us to purchase another ticket to get out ! I must admit I thought I must've been scammed when I purchased my ticket from you , imagine my surprise when I received this email asking for my review! I await your response with anticipation

    So pleased we found this car park online and pre-booked. Not having been to York before saved a lot of time looking round, especially in the freezing weather. Would certainly use again.

    Easy to find and gain entry. Big issues last night getting out though due to only 2 pay machines and one not working. Despite paying online beforehand the machine wanted payment and there was no sign of being able to scan the barcode on the ticket issued as described in the email I received. Despite this I would definitely use this facility again.

    Perfect for the Barbican and surrounding area, would recommend it to anyone, and will use it again, the person on duty was a great help 3/11/18 .

    Not too impressed! First time we've used the prebooking app & it was pretty complicated. We were going to the Barbican, but had to pull out due to illness. The refund Red Tape meant we had to forfeit the £9.00 payment as we didn't give 24 hours notice! 8 hours wasn't enough apparently, read the small print! Pretty expensive too, even by York standards, but really the only parking anywhere near the venue, especially if you're disabled! The car park is easy to find & park in, but next time we'll just wing it on the night & hope there's a space!

    I ended up paying twice as the automatic scanner did not recognise my ticket. There was no-one there to help. I am waiting to see how I can claim back the excess.

    When booking online the payment went from PayPal but my space did not show up on bookings. I had to ring up, they said the server had been down. All sorted the next day. Found space with ease but when I went to leave the machine would not read the bar code and the attendant had to let me and others who had prepaid who could not register the barcode out. So we were at the end of the queue for departing the car park at the end of a busy concert. From what I remember from the last time I used this car park About four years ago I had the same problems exiting. It needs sorting..
