Moorgate is a street in the City of London which is named after an actual gate that was within the London Wall that was built by the Romans. The gate itself was knocked down in 1762 but the name remains. Today Moorgate is the home of one of the campuses for the London Metropolitan University and it is close to the Bank of England.

Easy to find and it was not a problem to amend my booking. The car park is just inside the congestion zone, so make sure you need to enter it, otherwise you'll have to pay the charge. Would use this space again definitely!Gillian
Location was was easy to find and there were several free bays when we arrived, i think there were about 12 or 15 parking spaces. Consider which bay you park in if possible as I would suggest the bay sizes are quite small in width. It was a very very tight fit for me to get into the car on departure (despite the cars being parked within the white lines and our and adjacent cars being 'average mid-sized'). Don't know what, if any, cctv exists on or near the car park should any damage or theft occur. There was no barrier to the car park and the location is a back street with limited footfall. However, we encountered no problems, the price was fair and we would park there again. I did wonder though; we had prepaid for parking but signs there did allow for anyone to park via the pay and display machine so, what would happen if there were no free spaces when we arrived????Hilary
