Founded in 1427 by Richard Fleming, it is still one of the most intact legacies of the Middle Ages in the heart of the city. The College teaches a wide range of academic subjects to over 600 students, and has fantastic cultural and sporting facilities, as well as a famously good kitchen. Make sure to check out Lincoln College Chapel, which was built in 1629. Its main features are the spectacular windows and a screen made of cedar wood to recall the Jerusalem Temple.
