Information about parking in Plainmoor
Plainmoor Stadium, located in Torquay Devon, has been the home of Torquay United FC since it was built in 1921. The club, who are known to their fans as The Gulls, were founded in 1899. It is currently named The Launa Windows Stadium due to a sponsorship deal struck in 2016.
Plainmoor Stadium is located over two miles away from Torquay railway station, so it can take over 40 minutes to walk to the ground. The ground does not have an official car park so on street parking is the only option. However, it can get busy at game times, so it can be easier and cheaper to guarantee your parking space by booking in advance.
The club supporters club is called Boots & Laces and it allows away supporters access, though it can get quite busy. There are also a number of pubs, bars, and restaurants located in the local vicinity, including The George Inn, The Buccaneer Inn, and The Dog & Duck. There are also some fantastic tourist attractions, including Kents Cavern, the most important Stone Age site in Britain; Toquay Museum, the oldest museum in Devon; and Torquay Pavilion.

Easy straightforward booking with the App with good information....Nice secure space...FYI location of space would be easier to find if original description said at rear of the property other than that excellent choiceAndrew
The parking space is in a good location. It is very convenient for the centre of town (Cathedral Square, major shopping outlets). It is also inexpensive in comparison with multi-storey or pay-and-display options. Access is a little tight for a 4x4 - the hotel owners need to cut back the foliage on the driveway. Overall, a good option that I would use again.Joe
Phone number for the landlord did not work when I had a question about where the parking space was located. Had to figure out how to reach the rear of the building once I arrived because the parking was not located on the street specified. Not an issue, but a few lines on direction might have been useful. Entrance to the parking space quite narrow & best suited to a small car I think. Otherwise, fine, Useful when visiting daughter to have somewhere in the locality where I can come & go without looking for a space or having to repeatedly pay/top up any parking fees.Paul
Space was easy to find and access and perfect for visiting Exeter Football Club, would book again.Christine
Excellent service and app. Easy and convenient to use. No problemMatt
This solved a problem for us when we wanted to go to Plymouth for the Fireworks Championship and parking was going to be really difficult. The owner was really helpful and even provided a picture of the space so that we would know which one it was. Would use this website again which was easy to use and informative, and would use this parking space again if it was available, as it was an easy walk down into the main areas. I would recommend this site to anyoneHelen
The space at Claremont Grove is a good location for access to the city; it's a 10-15 minute walk to the centre. It is in a private Road that is somewhat tucked away so it felt like a very safe place to leave the car. The only slight stress came from trying to track down the house number because it wasnt included with the confirmation details and the owner was away. But we did get it in time and all was well. I would definitely use this space again if going back to Exeter.Laurie
Good location, ideal for M5, car park full when I arrived had to wait for Hotel guests to leave to park the car, but would use againPeter
