Malmaison Reading resides in Reading, a large, ancient market town in the Berkshire county in the South East region. It is fittingly positioned right beside Reading train station and in close proximity to the town centre. Malmaison Reading previously known as the Great Western Hotel is a grade two listed building and was built in 1844 and is known to be the eldest remaining train station hotel in the entire world and was purchased by the Malmaison brand in 2007.
The original hotel was thought to be designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Great Western Railways Chief Engineer and was built for people to stay who visited the town, from the train on the Great Western Main Line that ran from London to Bristol, passing through Reading. It was used as a hotel until the 1960s and was being used as offices until Malmaison took it over and reopened in 2007.
Malmaison manages 15 hotels within the UK and was founded in 1994 and the Frasers Property are the current owners. Malmaison Reading’s interior preserves the elegance and indulgence of train travel in the golden age. It prides itself on lavish interior decoration, top notch design and the greatest luxury. Malmaison Reading has 75 suites and rooms of varying size and style. Alongside sleeping in comfort, the hotel provides some most excellent and exquisitely exhibited event spaces and meeting rooms.

Fantastic idea to rent spaces. The pub car park I used was so close to the destination, I was informed as part of the process I could use any of the spaces which was so handy.Juliette

Easy to find, plenty of room & helpful owner. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a space close to town centre.Becca
I rented this perfect space for nearly 1 year as my car park was shut. It's safe and secure, underneath a residential building, is gated and you get the code/key fob for entry. I had no issues with my car being there and the owner was so lovely. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a space.Gemma
Such an easy process, no issues on the day of parking. Would definitely use again, very happy.Alice

Great little space Just needed to be clearer that I was in the right spaces.Rosalind
Easy booking online, carpark easy to find, plenty of spaces. My only concern would be if the carpark is full when you arrive what do you do and where would you park ? as an online booking you have no facilities to reserve spaces !. My other question is what about disabled drivers there are no facilities for this when booking. Otherwise great.Derek
