Information about parking in Rugby Park
Rugby Park is, unlike the name suggests, a football stadium that opened in 1899. It has been the home of Kilmarnock FC since this date, though they were actually founded in 1869. The club are nicknamed Killie, and currently compete in the Scottish Premiership. They are the oldest professional club in Scotland.
Kilmarnock Station, which provides services from Glasgow, is the closest station to Rugby Park. It is roughly a 20 minute walk to the ground. The car park at the ground is reserved for permit holders only, and though there is some on street parking, it is generally advisable to guarantee parking by booking your parking space in advance.
There is a sports bar located at the ground that can get quite busy. There is also the Park Hotel and The Howard Arms, which are both popular with away fans. In the city centre there is also a variety of bars and restaurants, as well as some interesting points of interest, including the Burns Monument and the Dick Institute Art Museum.

Latest Rugby Park parking reviews
Rough ground full of potholes so if you do use it drive slow. No markings and bit of a lottery finding a space to park. Adequate and cheap tho. And if u book via the app you don't need to mess with pay n display machines - just leave note on dashboard saying booked via your parking space. Will prob use again because it's cheapest.Steven
Great location for Glasgow Green and great communications with owner.Tracy
Whilst the property owner was really helpful, it wasn't practical for me to use the space. Firstly the allocated space had a car parked over the lines with a flat tyre (looked like it had been there for ages), and the option if parking over two spaces was impossible without driving over two poles in the road. I gave up after a while, ended up parking elsewhere and paid for a space not used.Mike
Perfect location for hampdenJohn
Excellent location for Hampden. Easy to find. The owner was waiting for us to show us exactly where to park and couldn't have been more helpful. Would happily recommend.John
In the end, we had a last minute change of plan and didn't use the space, but the owner made contact in advance with instructions and seemed very helpful, hence the 5 star review. Based on communication in advance, etc, and proximity to the venue, I would definitely book this space again if required without hesitation.Sharon
