  • Parking on Morris Road, SO15

It was very easy to book and find this parking space which is very close to the centre of town, but it is VERY small. Do not book this space if you have anything bigger than a Fiesta or similar small car. I borrowed my wife's Hyundai i20 as one of the reviewers said that any big car would hang over the pavement. There is no ramp so you have to drive up the footpath curb and then you have to drive your front wheel up another kerb on the owner's driveway if you don't want your car to hang over the public footpath. When you do this your car is very nearly shutting off any access to the owner's front door which is also slightly worrying. When I returned to the car in the evening the owner had parked his BMW on the space and his car was hanging over the footpath by at least 2 foot. There were plenty of emails from YourParkingSpace reminding me of the booking. The only problem is that the space is VERY small.

  • Parking on Onslow Road, SO14

Easily found car park with spaces ok. Easy booking on line and good information given.

  • Parking on Onslow Road, SO14

Easy to get to and plenty of spaces, however, as it was a pay and display car park that anyone could drive into and no attendant about, what would I have done if there were no spaces?

  • Parking on Millbrook Rd E, SO15

I have been parking in this bay for 4 months now. The landlord is a very pleasant young man who is happy to help. I parked my Jaguar XF in the allocated space, I had no problems with access and felt very happy in the knowledge that it was safe and away from the road. I would seek this one out again if the need arouse. After the set up was completed I had no need to contact YourParkingSpace until it was time to leave. No dramas there very straightforward.

  • Parking on Hill Street, SO19

Arrived at the appointed address and called the owner. Found that there was already a car parked in the space I had reserved - he said that he was not at home.

  • Parking on Mandela Way, SO15

Your Parking Space website was very easy to use and I was able to find a suitable parking space near to where I wanted to be. I did have to ask the owner a question about whether my car would need to be moved at times in order to access the garage behind. After a few days I received an answer and I noticed that the space description had also been updated on the website, to confirm my answer. With regard to finding the space I was able to locate it on Google Street View so it was not a problem but, it could be a problem as Mandela Way has several sections to it. It would be helpful if the address instructions said that the space is located in the first turn to the right after entering Mandela Way, when the confirmation details are sent. With regard to recommending the space I would have to say that I own a Ford Fiesta and luckily I am fairly slim so I was JUST able to use the space without any problems. However, I doubt that any car that is larger than a Fiesta would fit the space, as it is very tight. I note that the space is supposed to be usable by Medium sized cars and Large 4 X 4's ??? Having said the above about this particular space it would not stop me recommending Your Parking Space to others as I was able to park centrally in Southampton for at least 50% less than other companies were charging.

  • Parking on Atherley Road, SO15

All went like clockwork. Very nice obliging people. Thoroughly recommend.

  • Parking on Morris Road, SO15

Space was just as described. I wouldn't recommend for a very long car as it would stick out onto the pavement, but for my small VW Polo it was perfect. Space owner was easy to get hold of if you needed him. He was also very considerate when there was building work going on next door for a couple of days, and ensured that the builders kept their equipment out of the way of my space. Reasonable price, very close to work, and much cheaper than the multi-storey car parks!

  • Parking on Cliff Road, SO15

Easy simple and good price. Close to port. Could be walked but taxi is £7-9.
