Located on the coast of the Bristol Channel this long, sandy beach is a popular spot with tourists. Weston-super-Mare beach is a naturally occurring beach with golden sands that stretch out along the coast. It is one of the longest beaches in the UK and home to the fabulous Grand Pier.
The beach is well-known for its large tidal range, meaning that the sea retreats out a long way. It is inadvisable to walk too far out at low tide though, as the beach becomes mud after a while. It is also possible to drive on the beach, but don’t get stuck!
Summer is obviously a popular time to visit the beautiful Weston-super-Mare beach, but there are a number of activities and events available during winter. Outdoor water sports like kitesurfing are popular year-round, and the cafes and beachfront shops are open year-round.
The town itself is located in North Somerset and is home to around 80,000 people. The whole of Weston-super-Mare is worth visiting as you’ll find plenty of attractions nearby to visit including Puxton Park, Weston Museum, The Grand Pier and Wells Cathedral.

Latest Weston-Super-Mare Beach parking reviews
Enough parking room, close to seafront, easy to find even with the roadworks, would use again, thank youLucy
Parking online was very easy and there was plenty of space between the clearly marked lines. You had to look out for the street number because (& I can guess the reasons), there's no indication that the front of the large house concerned is now a parking area. My only issue - and this had nothing to do with to he space itself - to as how extremely difficult it was to get to the road concerned because of road works and road closures in adjacent roads - coming into Weston from the M5 brings you in from the most difficult acc SS point.John
Perfect. Easy to use app and car park was perfect location. Loads of spaces. Made the arrival stress free especially during busy kids holidaysPaul
Big spaces ,Vera
Great space easy to find and close to town centre.Ian
No trouble at all, arrived, parked, returned, left. Easy peasy. The hotel is by the sea front, a couple of minutes walk from the Grand Pier, so perfect location. I will definitely book again.Laura
Spacious car park, no issues and parked with ease Thank you.Julia
I would use this again - great location, nice good sized spaces. Extremely hot day, some shady spaces too. Completely took the stress out of the day for me, knowing we were driving to a reserved space opposite the beach.Helen
