  • Parking on John Maurice Cl, SE17

The space was a good location. There is two entrances to the above address and one of which does not allow you to get to the space as public pathway blocks you driving through. It would be good if this was pointed out on the instructions before arriving at the space, We were however able to contact the owner of the space and eventually managed to gain access but if we were to have known this before it would have saved us 45 mins trying to sort on arrival.

The parking was in a private road with no particular space. There were restriction signs with warnings of fines of £100 if no permit was shown. I was not given a permit and was assured that the permit did not need to be placed in the car. I was not very happy at the time, but pleased to find no ticket when returning to my car 3 hours later.

Excellent, easy to find, short walk to the embankment. Would recommend and will use it again. Got to drive past Buckingham palace and many other sites which the kids enjoyed. At 11.30am on a Friday it took 10 mins longer than going by train but was half the cost even after £11.50 congestion fee. Don't let the thought of London traffic scare you it was easy to navigate and pleasurable.
