Parking in Hammersmith
It can be challenging to find a space to park in Hammersmith, especially if you’re pushed for time. This is because all of the area lies within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), meaning that restrictions are in place almost all of the time.
Parking restrictions to keep an eye out for include:
- Pay and Display bays where you can stay for 1,2 or 4 hours
- Double yellow lines, where you can't park
- Single yellow lines, where you can only park at some times unless you are a blue badge holder. Be sure to check the signs when parking.
- Where there are chevrons on the kerb this means that no loading/unloading activity is allowed to take place.
You can only use a resident permit to park in permit bays and shared permit and pay & display bays within your parking zone. Even with a resident permit, you cannot park in pay & display bays (within their hours of operation), loading bays, disabled bays, doctor bays, on single or double yellow lines or in suspended parking bays.
No one wants a surprise fine! On the YourParkingSpace map, we make sure that we only offer parking spaces with no restrictions so you need no permit and can rest assured you won’t get any fines.

Perfect little parking spot. Felt safe leave my car there.Ian
It was really easy to get to, and plenty of space to park. My only issue is that there are no marked parking bays and so I wasn't sure where was appropriate to park, e.g I had to park in front of an open gate but wasn't sure if I would be obstructing anything etc. Overall would definitely park here again, great price and easy to get to places from here, plus well lit and felt safe at night.Alan
Simple access and friendly service. Thank you.Darien
Clean and safe. Will he using againSteven
Easy to find, entrance at side/rear of hotel on Holland Street, enough spaces although they are quite tight which is why I have given 4 not 5. Exit car park via lift/stairs (loo on way out!) to hotel reception. Perfect for Kensington High Street and tube station. Would use again and recommend.Pauline
