Where is Epping Forest located?
Epping Forest stretches from the town of Epping to the Forest Gate area, just north of London.
What is there to do within Epping Forest?

How big is the forest?
Epping Forest itself covers around 4,000 acres. It’s around 20km long, although no more than 4km wide at any point, so it’s a relatively narrow strip that stretches to the north just above London. The forest has woodland, rivers, grasslands, bogs, and ponds, and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.
