There is on-site parking at Wythenshawe Hospital, however, this space is limited and it is recommended that you use public transport whenever possible.
The main car park of Wythenshawe Hospital can be found in front of the Acute Block at Entrance 3. Thus car park and four smaller visitor car parks can be accessed from Southmoor Road. The other car parks here are as follows:
- Nightingale Car Park
- Outpatients Car park (Entrance 5)
- Cardiac Car Park (Entrance 6/7)
- Paediatrics Car Park (Entrance 10)
The car park for the Maternity Unit is located to the south of the hospital at entrance 13, and can be accessed from Floats Road.
The cost of using Wythenshawe Hospital parking is as follows:
- First 20 minutes – Free
- Up to 2 hours – £3.00
- Up to 3 hours – £4.00
- Up to 4 hours – £5.00
- Up to 5 hours – £6.00
- Over 5 hours – £10.00 per day
There are concession tickets available for frequent visitors to the hospital. This ticket costs £13.00 and is valid for six exits of the car park; there are no limits on the amount of time you use the ticket for.
You can purchase an all-day ticket for £3.00. If there are delays with your appointment, you can talk to the ward or department that you’re visiting to be given the concession form to fill out.
Lost tickets can be replaced for £10.00. You will need to visit the Security Office near the outpatients entrance to the hospital.
Wythenshawe Hospital also has a park and ride service which runs from 10:30am to 3pm from Monday to Friday. It leaves from between Entrance 5 and 6 and heads to and returns from the Oxford Road Campus every hour. It’s free for staff, but patients and visitors will have to pay £1 cash to the driver.
