Rent a Barclaycard Arena Parking Space
The Barclaycard Arena, previously known as the National Indoor Arena (NIA), currently known as the Barclaycard Arena due to a sponsorship deal, is a sporting and entertainment arena that forms part of the NEC group. It has played host to a wide variety of events such as Disney on Ice, The Tae Kwon Do International Championships and numerous comedy shows.
The Barclaycard Arena is a short walk from Birmingham New Street. There is also an official car park located at the arena, however with a capacity in excess of 15,000 people parking can be hard to come by. This means it is often easier, quicker and cheaper to book your parking space in advance of a visit to the Barclaycard Arena.
The arena is located in the city centre of Birmingham so there is plenty of access to great restaurants, bars, and pubs. The Mailbox is located nearby and is full of excellent restaurants, designer stores, and even a spa. The Bull Ring is similarly a great shopping centre right in the centre of the city. The National SEALIFE Centre Birmingham is a great attraction suitable for the whole family, and it is located opposite the Barclaycard Arena.

Service was great. Email with booking did not include barcode for exit but staff in office were very helpfull and provided a barcode for exit. Will use again.Michael
Efficient and useful. It was easy to find and was so close to the venue I was visiting exactly as it claimed. I would recommend this service.Karen
Easy process to book a parking space. We found the carp park without any problems and location was really good.Fiona
The space was very nice and easy to find and booking the space was easy as well. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would use this service again and would recommend to a friend.Luke
A horrible space that was difficult to find and felt really unsafe, lots of drugs paraphernalia on the floors and had the feel of a piece of wasteland. We opted not to stay there, but parked in the multi-storey in Brindley place instead. If you're thinking about booking this space, don't.David
The entrance for us was on Clement Street up by the roundabout by the Arena. Above the entrance there is a blue sign which says “Arena View Car Park. Blocks A&B.” Ideal space which was large enough for us to park our VW T5 California, with enough headroom to get it in under the building. We will use again. Excellent communication.Nick
Yes I would recommend to others particularly for events at Birmingham arena, it’s less than 5 mins walk. Cost £5 less than just parking there and paying normally although did have trouble scanning the barcode sent to us which required assistance to leave the car park. Overall though it’s in a great location, close to pubs and restaurants!Holly
Really great car park, so easy to park as lots of spaces and no trouble exiting as I just showed then the receipt on my phone and they opened up the barriers straight away, would definitely use this car park anytime we are in Birmingham.Veronica
Excellent parking space in gated carpark less than 5 minute walk to Arena Birmingham. Owner very helpful & sent access code by text an hour before arrival. My only gripe was when we returned to the car there was a notice from security at the premises informing me I had no right to park there and would be fined £250, however this was soon sorted. I would definitely use this space again when I'm next in the city.Michele
Location - For access to Birmingham Arena / City shopping and eating - excellent. Postcode - the one on the website B1 2RX is not the location of Edward St. or Clement St. (that postcode takes you to Suffolk St Queensway which is nowhere near). You need to used B1 2SL to get to Clement St. for entrances AB or go round the block to Edward St. to find other entrances depending on your text instructions for which entrance. I advise you to take a good look on Google maps before you go. Security - excellent. coded entry. Actual space - ok - the space in the picture was occupied by a small car. Text said to use any non-reserved space, many were taken, there was only one left that would suit our MPV (just), courtyard is compact and more suited to a small / medium cars. Communication - Eventually worked out, but first text sent when I booked said details would be sent on day. The day came and I needed to set off so I text again needing confirmation of postcode. No reply, so I phoned, very nice guy explained that he only sends out details (text) one hour before the booking time. Received text 5 mins before booked time, so I'd advise booking earlier than required for directions and entry code as it's not easy to stop on double yellows to reset sat nav. nb text does not update postcode, so take note of above. Would I use again? - yes in a smaller car, use correct postcode for sat nav and book for the whole day. Odd events - 1) We returned to find a sheet of A4 on windscreen, it was a receipt for a completely different car reg and booking. 2) Another group returned to find a parking notice, they said they had paid 'til midnight ( and it was not midnight), I don't know if they arrived too early? Parked in a reserved space? (though it didn't look like it). So beware of above.BARBARA
