  • Parking on Thrale Street, SE1

The car park was to the rear of the IBIS hotel and entry was by ticket to open the barrier. The hotel was closed for refurbishment so the car park had plenty of spaces available. The spaces were of sufficient size and some were undercover. To exit the car park I had to ring the door bell outside the hotel to get a member of staff to validate my ticket. No problems, so worked well for me.

  • Parking at Royal National Theatre, SE1

We used this parking space when we went on a Sunday lunchtime cruise from Embankment Pier. The parking spaces are tight, we have a Vauxhall Mokka and that was just about the maximum sized car to park safely. The only problem we had was Google Maps told us we had arrived at destination when we were half way over Waterloo Bridge, after a long detour we managed to find the parking space but maybe better just to enter Royal National Theatre into satnav/maps instead of the postcode. Overall an ideal parking space on a Sunday for central London.
