Space was a little difficult to find, and owner was not very friendly but worked out ok. Probably wouldn’t use again but location was good enough

no-one was there to greet us and the e try code to the space was incorrect. space is close to the pier which was good but we did have to wait for neighbours to come out to gain entry

Doesn’t pick up his phone, parking space is really tight, came to open the gate didn’t even say hi. The only thing that’s good is that u feel like ur car is safe as it’s gated, having said this, the space is so tight u worry someone will hit into your car

Very tight getting in - Was left a note on my car in the morning for not parking in the bay properly ! But this is almost impossible with a slightly larger car and no room to move - Contact was only by text and delayed

Good location, was able to get hold of space owner when I needed. Maybe just a good idea for a sign or number on the actual space and little description on exactly where to turn into for the space. But found it easy enough just felt bad having to bother the owner.

Very small, very restricted space on a slope with difficult access.

Good location. Space owner was great at communicating. Would use again. Things to note: the street name isn’t given in the directions, even once you’ve booked, which it should be. The entrance is in Rock Place which is a very narrow street so it’s very tight actually turning into the gated driveway and then once inside its a squeeze getting to the space due to the lay out of the other parking bays and turning space is very limited. The space itself is narrow with a wall down one side so tricky if you’ve got kids in car seats etc. It’s fine if you’ve got a small car. I knew this from reading other reviews so it was fine for me but I think this info should be on the listing.

Parking space worked fine for us. Difficult to find as tucked away in a tiny courtyard. Fine for a medium sized car but may be a bit tight for a larger vehicle.

The directions provided were inadequate with no mention that Chain Pier house is in Rock Place a narrow lane beside Drakes Hotel. The owner was helpful once he found us but had previously given us incorrect directions by phone . The space itself is within a very small courtyard and involves a sharp right angle turn which is difficult to negotiate if the other three spaces are occupied . I would not recommend others to use this space

NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR 4x4 CARS. The picture shows a larger car parked but not the entrance you have to get through to park and not the size and closness of the other spaces in and around you. I had a problem finding the car parking space as the postcode supplied does not register on satnav. Once I found it, the entrance was so small (with brick walls on either side) that I struggled to get my car through. Once past the entrance, there is very little space to manocer your car into the parking space due to little space and bad parking by other residence. I have a Honda HR-V which is smaller than a 4x4, I would say I was an average to good driver and have no problem with manuvering in small spaces but I would not recommend this space for large cars and not book it again. The owner of the car park was very supportive when I phoned him for directions he stayed on the phone while I struggled to get through the entrance and apologised for the other residence bad parking and this is why I am giving a 2 star rather than a 1.
