Aldgate East, located between Aldgate and Whitechapel, is a Tube station on the Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines. It is in close proximity to the City of London, Brick Lane, and Liverpool Street. It is located just outside of the congestion zone making it a very popular location for park and ride commuters.
The station itself provides services via the Hammersmith & City Line – which serves Liverpool Street, King’s Cross St Pancras, and Easton Square – and the District Line – providing tubes to Monument, Westminster, and South Kensington. It is also just a short walk to Aldgate Station, where there is access to the Metropolitan and Circle Lines. It is a great location to book a parking space for commuters and tourists alike due to its central location and lack of congestion charging.
There are some fantastic tourist attractions near Aldgate East that are always popular with tourists and Londoners alike. Wilton’s Music Hall, one of the last surviving Music Halls left in the UK, is a short walk from the station and Brick Lane is a popular location for its world famous Sunday Market as well as vintage clothing shops and art galleries.
