St Andrew’s Stadium, located in the Bordesley area of Birmingham, is the home ground of Birmingham City FC. The club were founded in 1875 and moved into St Andrew’s in 1906. Their nickname is the blues due to the colour of their home strip. They have played in the top division for most of their existence and have won the League Cup twice, much to the delight of Birmingham City fans. Their current manager is Garry Monk and he has been instrumental in the recent news that Birmingham City completed signing of free agent after a successful trial. This will no doubt be fantastic news to fans who have been anxious to see the team reach the heights of an FA cup final in the future.
There have been reports in the press recently that three senior staff members decided to leave Birmingham City, but the team are looking forward to the season ahead. In the coming months games will include Birmingham City VS Leeds United, West Brom and Aston Villa.
St Andrew’s stadium features a small car park but this can become full very quickly. There is some on street parking near the stadium but it is generally quicker and cheaper to book your parking space in advance to avoid disappointment. The nearest station to the ground is Bordesley, located roughly ten minutes away. It provides services to Birmingham Snow Hill and Birmingham Moor Street.
The majority of pubs in the proximity to St Andrew’s are for home fans only. It is therefore best to drink in the city centre where there are a great variety of places to eat, drink, shop, or visit. These include the Bull Ring Shopping Centre, which is full of shops, restaurants, and bars; the Mailbox, featuring a great number of restaurants; and Cadbury World is a great family attraction, if you have time to spend in the area.

Great location & price! We booked as close to theatre. Unfortunately as they have now blocked the adjoining road off the traffic at peak times (5ish on a Saturday) is horrendous and took us about 30mins to leave!Ali
I'd recommend this for the Bullring - it's very convenient and fairly easy to find. Most other places are walkable - 25 minutes from the Arena, 20 minutes from Brindley Place. No-one on duty, but it seemed secure enough.Tony
Absolute nightmare ! No patking space when we arrivedCandy
Really helpful space owner and straightforward to use - my colleague was able to walk from the space to a venue in the centre of Birmingham. Accommodated our minibus with no problems. Recommended!Helen
Easy to find a space on arrival well maintained existing was easy just drive upto the barrier and the camera reconsise your number plate from your booking details after speaking to the assistant would recommend to other as location is very good for shopping especially the ibis hotel directly oppositeAnthony
Easy to find but had to pay on exit ad scan did not workJeannie
Hastle free until I got to the barrier. Put in card and it tried to charge me again. It was sorted very prompt and I was on my wayPeter
I was very pleased with the booking procedure and on arrival the location in relation to the canal, food outlets and Arena. The car park was also clean and tidy. Confusion on departure about ticket being validated because I was prepaid but on exit because of the delay caused from everyone leaving at once by the time I reached the barrier it had gone up 50p. although we called for assistance, all our documents were in the boot of the car so when we were asked for our booking no it created a delay.Steven
