It can be challenging to find a space to park in Paddington, especially if you’re pushed for time. This is because all of the area lies within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), meaning that restrictions are in place almost all of the time.
Parking restrictions to keep an eye out for include:
- Pay and Display bays where you can stay for 1,2 or 4 hours
- Double yellow lines, where you can't park
- Single yellow lines, where you can only park at some times unless you are a blue badge holder. Be sure to check the signs when parking.
- Where there are chevrons on the kerb this means that no loading/unloading activity is allowed to take place.
You can only use a resident permit to park in permit bays and shared permit and pay & display bays within your parking zone. Even with a resident permit you cannot park in pay & display bays (within their hours of operation), loading bays, disabled bays, doctor bays, on single or double yellow lines or in suspended parking bays.
Be sure to check local Paddington parking restrictions, so you don’t get a surprise fine though the letterbox! On the YourParkingSpace map, we make sure that we only offer parking spaces with no restrictions so you need no permit and can feel assured you won’t get any fines.

Great location for Canary Wharf etc. Easy to find and easy to park. Didn't meet the owner. Certainly recommend to anyone.Simon
Ideally placed for a stay in London, really easy to find and felt like a safe area to leave my car. I would just reiterate some earlier comments.....don't book if your car is anything other than small! I had to swap cars on the day I came and our Renault Scenic only JUST fitted the space.Di
Easy to find. Just drive across the front of hotel and use the ramp on the left. Press the button at the bottom of ramp and state your parking space the barrier then opens up.Jean
Great location for Kew Gardens. Safe and easy to findRajesh
The entrance to this car park is in Holland Road, so when approaching from the west along Hammersmith Road/Kensington High Street, go past the Hilton hotel and turn left at the traffic lights, the entrance is on the left and is clearly marked. Don't use Russell Road as I tried to do initially! The car park itself seems very secure and well-lit with good access to the hotel. The spaces are a little 'tight' and the pillars don't help, but other than that, no problems. Would recommend if staying at the hotel, but pre-booking a good idea to keep the cost down.Stephen
Wow not sure i want to give a review to this place it was simply brilliant for what we wanted to do. Please don't share this place as everybody would want to park here. I would and will be using this venue again simply brilliantSteve
