My first year as Senior Customer Care Driver Specialist at YourParkingSpace

Last week, we had the opportunity to interview Andreea Pilat, one of our Senior Customer Care Driver Specialist's here at YourParkingSpace.

Andreea has been with us for just over a year, and it was great to get an insight into her experiences since joining the team.

Joining YourParkingSpace

I joined the company a year ago. At that time, I was looking to change my job and join a company that will value me. YourParkingSpace was the last job I interviewed for, and I actually thought I hadn't been successul despite having a good interview!

After the interview, I told myself “Wow, this is the kind of company and team I would love to be part of”. Just after a few hours I received a call to confirm that I had got the position. I was extremely happy, proud, and excited about my new adventure!

Onboarding

During my onboarding, the people here were amazing, everyone is willing to help and explain if you miss anything. On my first day, I met Mollie Underwood (our lovely Learning and Development Manager). It was such a warm welcome, I received support and guidance even after the training and everyone in the team was very helpful and friendly. The first days were hard and intense, just because I was doing a completely different job, but as always the team, the manager and in general everyone were very supportive. I have to say, I have not been in this big a team before now, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this unique and positive team.

The Customer Care Team

Customer Care represents the company, this is why it is so important to maintain and deliver the best service so that we can keep our customers loyal and happy. We use Zendesk as the main system (CRM) to communicate with the customers, and are so proud to say that we have 24h coverage with people working from all around the world. What I love the most about this team is that we all work as one to achieve the same goals, and we can count on each other help and support one another. 

I always loved taking on more responsibility, and being able to help my colleagues and find ways to improve processes is the most rewarding thing. I love to spend time with our new team members, and help them understand the workings behind YourParkingSpace. I am often the first point of contact when someone from the team needs help, and feel that I have the trust of my colleagues as a Senior Customer Care Driver Specialist. 

The Future

The future sounds exciting! From the first day I joined to now so many things have changed, which I like as you are constantly learning new things and no two days are the same. Joining a fast-growing company will make you develop your skills and career quickly, and I am excited about the future of the company and my role in it!
