The nearest train station to Royal Sussex county hospital is Brighton train station and is a 30 minute walk and short 10 minute car drive or a 18 minute direct bus journey away.

By Ferry:
Newhaven ferry port located between Brighton and Eastbourne offers ferries to and from Dieppe in France. There are three services a day during the summer and two services a day in the Winter. It takes 5 hours to cross.

There are direct trains from Gatwick airport to Brighton train station which take 55 minutes and run every 6 minutes.
