  • Parking on Brandfield St, EH3

Despite initial confusion, it's a decent place to park. I used this parking from mid afternoon to late night. Handy for Haymarket and rugby at Murrayfield. After arriving into Brandfield St., it wasn't clear where the parking was, as the entry gate is at number 4 Brandfield St., when StayCity is at Number 11. The car park at the gates of number 4 is named as something different to StayCity, so I wasn't sure if I was in the correct area. However, after using the intercom it was confirmed I was at the correct location and I was allowed into the compound. Once inside, the StayCity reserved parking lots are situated through the barrier and down the ramp to the basement. Make sure you park on a StayCity badged parking space as some are private. Once parked, check in at the StayCity reception at number 11. To get there, advise entry over the door intercom and use the lift. This gets you to 9 Brandfield Street, from there you then need to walk outside and get to number 11. That's all a bit confusing on arrival. Once checked in you are issued with the barrier code. I was lucky, the barrier was upright when I arrived. However, if its down, you need to go through that check in process before driving into the basement. If that happens, park up and use the reception sign in the left corner and walk back on yourself to StayCity at 11 Brandfield Street. Despite the confusion, I would use again now that I know the process.
