Skoda adds range-topping model to Enyaq iV line-up

Most powerful electric car from Skoda to date features twin electric motors and 300+ mile driving range

The Skoda Enyaq iV 80x has been launched by the Czech firm, boasting 195kW (265hp), and a range of 303 miles on a charge. On top of that, the all-wheel drive Enyaq iV can be recharged at up to 125 kW from ultra-rapid DC chargers, keeping top-up times down to around half an hour.

The Enyaq iV 80x Sportline uses a motor on each axle for full all-wheel drive capabilities, and the drivetrain helps with a 0-62mph time of 6.9 seconds. A torque fogire of 425 Nm is a key contributor to what is a quick acceleration time for a family-sized SUV.

Powering the twin motors is an 80 kWh battery, which can be charged at up to 125 kW DC or 7.2 kW AC. Charging on the latter will take around 13 hours for a 0-100% charge, whilst a 0-80% DC charge will take 38 minutes.

Kit includes drive mode select, whilst dynamic chassic control is available as an option. Drivers will get full matrix LED headlights, sports seats with Alcantara/leather trim, and multi-function sports steering wheel, on top of the standard specification.

Prices start at £46,610 for the Enyaq iV 80x Sportline, and odrer books are open now, with first deliveries expected later this year.
