Great parking option and an cheaper alternative to the main shopping centre car park next door. But more complex to get in, but instructions were clear, concierge was very helpful and overall a great parking experience. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use again.

It all worked perfectly well, though you do need to check in with the Hilton concierge on arrival and go into the one lane entry road close alongside the hotel and not down the slope alongside it, to what is actually the exit from the shopping centre car park. When you leave the Hilton car park you get a ticket at the barrier which you must then use to get out of the shopping centre exit. Note that while this car park is very central, the Cambridge road system being so rabidly anti-car, it's not as convenient as you'd wish for, say, first dropping off people and luggage in the northern part of the City centre, and then parking here for lunch, which is what we did. This requires a 15 minute diversion out of town and back in again. Not the Hotel's fault of course.

Hello, I can confirm to find the entrance to this (hotel) parking lot is not easy as it is interlinked with 2 other public car parks. I landed in the wrong one and was charged £3.00 for just driving in and out again. Best bet before being forced to drive another round around the bloc (ca 7 mins) is to pull into the laybay on the left infront of the Hilton hotel. There is usually a concierge in the hotel hall to open the barrier manually for you. The car park access is straight after the hotel laybay on the very very left. Do not take the road that leads down to the public car park but stay on the Downing Street road level and take the small entrance to the very very left. Once in the hotel car park there is ample of space to park and maneuver. When going out you are guided through a barrier supplying you with the the exit ticket and you use that to leave the car park through one of the public car par exits in the side road to the hotel. I hope this helps you to enjoy what is otherwise a very pleasant parking experience right in the centre of CB.
