    very convenient for hotel but very few spaces available. unfortunately we were blocked in by a car for a few minutes when we were leaving

    I pre-booked a parking space at Premier Inn for three days; ten days in advance. When I arrived at the car park it was full and no space for my car. I went to the reception and explained that there was no spaces. I was told that all spaces must be pre-booked. I showed them my pre-booked receipt and was told that they had not been advised of my booking and all they could suggest was to wait in the car park until someone left and a space may become available. As this seemed to be the only option; this is what I did. After about 30 minutes somebody left and I parked in the space they left. I appreciate that there are not many spaces at this venue but that it the whole point of pre-boking.

    Please be careful when booking this space!. We thought we had a guaranteed space booked in The Premier Inn car park but when we got there we was told by The Premier Inn that there is no space allocated for us it’s just if one is available then we can park in it, we was informed if the car park is fully booked then you have to get hold of Your Parking Space and they will refund you. So basically we paid £24 for the two nights when we could of paid £16 by seeing when we got there if a space was available. We was lucky enough to have got a space and the space was fine but I don’t want other people to make the same mistake as us.
